DEL RAY BEACH, FL -- James B. O'Hearn, 86, of Del Ray Beach, FL and Latham died suddenly Sunday, November 9, 1997 at Del Ray Beach Hospital. Mr. O' Hearn was born in Cohoes. He was a well known amateur golfer. He started in the restaurant business as Manager of the Van Schaick Island Country Club, then was the owner of Jim's Restaurant on Division Street in Cohoes, The Glens Falls Country Club, as Manager, Smith's Restaurant in Cohoes, the former Mansion in Waterford. Mr. O'Hearn opened the Century House in Latham in 1949. He was a member of the Latham Chamber of Commerce, the Watervliet Elks, and National Restaurant Association.
