OPEN MEN KEEP RALLYING TO WIN.(SPORTS)

BINGHAMTON -- Coming into the Empire State Games, the scholastic men's basketball team was the one to watch from the Adirondack Region.

Entering today's medal round, the focus has shifted to the open men's team.

Nobody really expected that. Certainly not after Adirondack trailed New York City by 22 points at halftime of their first game. Certainly not after the Capital Region's team fell behind Western by 18 points in Friday's late, late show. And possibly not in Saturday's matinee, when Hudson Valley took a 51-44 halftime lead.
